Once upon a time, during the challenging days of the Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020, a married couple named Shreyasee and Tanay Ghoshal embarked on a remarkable journey. Tanay, a Techpreneur and a Social Entrepreneur, and Shreyasee, a Lawyer, shared a dream of creating something unique that would not only bring joy to people's lives but also uplift the rural communities in West Bengal, India. Little did they know that their vision would take shape in the form of Nonamati Restaurant and Farm Stay, transforming an abandoned piece of land into a flourishing oasis.

The journey began with the acquisition of a neglected plot, overgrown with weeds and forgotten by time. Tanay and Shreyasee saw the potential in this land, a canvas waiting to be revived with their dreams. With unwavering determination, they embarked on the challenging task of converting it into a thriving farm. Together, they cleared the land, nourished the soil, and planted a variety of crops, herbs, and flowers.

Months passed, and as nature responded to their care, the farm flourished. It became a picturesque sanctuary, radiating the tranquility that only nature can provide. This newfound abundance inspired the couple to take their dream a step further. In April 2022, they opened Nonamati Restaurant, an inviting space where visitors could savor delectable meals made from fresh, organic ingredients grown right on the farm.

The restaurant quickly gained popularity among locals and tourists alike. People flocked to Nonamati to experience its farm-to-table cuisine, relishing the flavors and appreciating the sustainable practices that underpinned every dish. In the beginning of 2023, they have expanded their offerings and introduced Nonamati Farm Stay, providing weary travelers with a charming escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The farm stay facilities, nestled amidst the serene surroundings of the farm, offered a perfect getaway for those seeking solace in nature.
